Hmong Burial Grounds - 1 Viewing Although the Hmong are a nomadic people, they bury the artifacts of those who have passed in one traditional spot. It is a flat plateau amongst deep red cliffs. There is an ancient totem pole marking the grave site. It has a peaceful feel; occasionally, tribe members will arrive to pay their respects. |

The Desert Flats Wide, open land stretches on for miles. Sparse, low-growing bushes and cacti populate the area. Water and prey are scarce. And if hunger does not do you in, the sheer temperatures will. |

The Dream Shrub Deep in the middle of the parched desert is a single gnarled old bush. Its branches offer precious shade from the insidious blazing sun. Skeletons litter the ground beneath the bush. The shrub emits strong spores that cause those who breathe in the air around it to fall into a coma-like sleep that transports them into a mysterious dream world... but not all have the mental fortitude to wake up once they've fallen under the Dream Shrub's spell. |
